Jaguar has unveiled its newest model – the 2018 Jaguar E-Pace compact crossover. The E-Pace is smaller than the F-Pace and will be the second of three crossovers that will be offered by Jaguar, with the last one being the electric I-Pace.

On the outside the E-Pace looks a lot like its bigger brother and also borrows many styling cues from the F-Type. Even with it smaller proportions, the E-Pace will have room for five passengers and Jaguar says that there will be ample cargo space thanks to the E-Pace’s integral link rear suspension.

Under the hood the E-Pace will be offered with a choice of two 2.0L four-cylinder engines with standard all-wheel drive. The most powerful version will generate 296 horsepower and will give the E-Pace a 0-60 mph time of just 5.9 seconds before reaching a limited top speed of 152 mph. The lesser powered turbocharged engine will generate 246 horsepower and reaches 60 mph in 6.6 seconds.

Inside the interior looks close to the F-Pace and F-Type models. A 10-inch touchscreen is standard and there’s also an optional 4G Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight devices. The standard InControl Remote & Protect system automatically alerts emergency services in case of an accident and allows you to check fuel levels and mileage remotely via a smartphone or smartwatch.

Pricing for the 2018 E-Pace starts at $38,600.
