2017 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid and Electric models priced

Hyundai has announced the pricing for the hybrid and electric versions of the 2017 Ioniq. The Ioniq will be the first vehicle to be offered with hybrid, plug-in hybrid and full-electric powertrains.

The Ioniq Hybrid starts at $23,035, while the Ioniq Electric starts at $30,335 including the $835 destination fee.

The Ioniq Electric is powered by an 88 kW electric motor and 28 kWh battery that will give it a driving range of 124 miles. Both the Ionic Hybrid and Ionic Plug-in Hybrid models are powered by a 1.6L four-cylinder that is mated to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. The hybrid features a 1.56 kph lithium-ion battery, while the plug-in hybrid gets a larger 8.9 kph battery. The Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid will be released later this year and have an electric driving range around 25 miles.
