Ford has unveiled a new Pony package for the 2018 Ford Mustang, which will be offered on the four-cylinder Mustang when it arrives in October. The Pony package brings back an iconic feature – the grille-mounted pony-in-corral badge design.
The unique badge design first appeared on the Mustang in the mid-1960s when the car was still in concept phase and over the years it has appeared in various forms. The most recent use was for the 2015 anniversary package.
In addition to the pony-in-coral grille badge, the Pony package also adds 19-inch wheels, side stripes on the lower body sides, a tri-bar pony badge on the rear decklid and carpeted floor mats with an ebony embroidered pony logo.
