We already know that the Ford Focus Electric is a “green” car, but now it’s even greener with the debut of the new Outrageous Green color. The 2018 Focus Electric’s Outrageous Green Metallic paint hue is inspired by nature and renewal and is also validated by Pantone’s 2017 Color of the Year, Greenery.

This isn’t the first time that Ford has reveal a unique green hue for its lineup, since in the past it offered colors like, Highland Green, Squeeze Green, Ultimate Green and Gotta Have It Green.

The Focus Electric has taken a back seat lately to other newer models, like the Chevy Bolt, but Ford did recently upgrade its battery to give it a driving range of 115 miles, up from 76 miles on the 2016 model. That means that the Focus Electric can now travel further than the Nissan Leaf. The Focus Electric also now comes standard with DC fast charging capability that can delivering 75 miles of range in 30 minutes.
