Buick to unveil a new Regal wagon next month!

It’s been rumored and now we’ll see if its true! Buick is reportedly going to reveal a new Regal wagon next month at the New York Auto Show. The Regal will be a rebadged version of Opel’s Insignia Sports Tourer wagon that is sold in Europe.
Buick hasn’t sold a wagon since the mid-1990s, so the arrival of a Regal wagon is significant especially as there seems to be a slow rebirth of wagon’s here in the U.S. (aka look at that Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo). Buick is also going to reveal a version of the five-door Opel Insignia Grand Sport hatchback that will be sold alongside the Regal wagon.

The 2018 Buick Regal is going to debut on April 4 in Detroit, a week before it debuts in New York. Sadly this new Regal will likely be the last time it will be a re-badged Opel, since GM recently announced plans to sell Opel and Vauxhall to France’s PSA Group for $2.3 billion.
