McLaren 12C fans have just received a bit of bad news as McLaren has decided to kill the 12C as it focuses on the new 650S Coupe and Spider. It's not all that surprising since the 650S is essentially a facelifted version of the 12C.

McLaren has released the pricing for the 2015 McLaren 650S Coupe and Spider, which are now on sale. The 2015 McLaren 650S Coupe starts at $265,500, while the 650S Spider starts at $280,225.

McLaren has just unveiled the convertible version of the new 650S, the 650S Spider. Just like the 650S Coupe, the 650S Spider is powered by a 641-hp twin-turbocharged 3.8L V8 with 500 lb-ft. of torque. McLaren also says that the 650S Spider will offer nearly identical performance to the coupe, with the addition of a two-piece retractable hard top.

McLaren has released the performance specs for the 650S Coupe, which is going to debut next week at the Geneva Motor Show. Thanks to its 641 horsepower 3.8L V8, the 650S is able to reach 0-62 mph in a quick 3 seconds flat and 124 mph in 8.4 seconds with a top speed of 207 mph.

The McLaren 650S will be positioned between the 12C and P1 models and according to McLaren, the 650S was "designed and developed to offer the enthusiast driver the ultimate in luxury, engagement and excitement, as well as dramatic yet beautiful styling."

McLaren has released the performance specs for the McLaren P1 hybrid supercar that is going to debut next week in Geneva. The P1's hybrid powertrain generates a total 903 horsepower, which is enough to help the supercar reach 0-62 in less than three seconds, 0-124 mph in under seven seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 217 mph.

McLaren has released a new set of photos of the McLaren P1 design study following its Middle East debut in Bahrain in January. These new photos have been released ahead of its arrival in the United Arab Emirates this week. The new photos of the design study were taken at the Bahrain International Circuit. Bahrain is the Middle East base for McLaren, and is also home of its majority shareholder, Mumtalakat.

McLaren GT, the new race car division of the McLaren Group, is going to unveil the track-focused 12C Can-Am Edition concept at the Pebble Beach Concours. The concept is a one-off design study that is painted in McLaren Orange and satin black.
The 12C Can-Am Edition concept borrows its carbon fiber chassis from the McLaren 12C road car. It's finished in a striking shade of McLaren Orange, in tribute to cars of Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme which were extremely successful throughout the 1960s and 1970s. The bold hue is in dramatic contrast to the roof, door and bumper sections, finished in satin black, while carbon fibre also features on the side radiator vanes, wing mirrors and engine cover. The McLaren badges on the front and rear are also finished in carbon fiber.

McLaren has just unveiled its second model, the 2013 McLaren MP4-12C Spider, which like the coupe version is powered by a turbocharged 3.8-liter V-8 with 616 horsepower and 442 lb-ft. of torque. It also gets a unique a folding roof system that may be operated while on the move, and a carbon 'MonoCell' chassis identical to that of the 12C coupe.

McLaren has released more photos, videos and specs for the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 race car. McLaren Automotive, McLaren Racing, McLaren Electronic Systems and McLaren Applied Technologies join forces with CRS Racing in development and support of new MP4-12C GT3.
20 MP4-12C GT3 race cars will be homologated for GT3 racing in 2012 and the new race car will make a special appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The production of the McLaren MP4-12C has kicked off at the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) in Woking, England. McLaren plans on producing 1,000 MP4-12Cs in 2011, with most of the units coming from its bespoke new £40 million McLaren Production Centre, which is expected to be finished in May.
The McLaren MP4-12C is powered by a 592-hp 3.8L V8 twin-turbocharged engine.
Pricing starts at $229,000 in the U.S.
