VW exec confirms Golf R 400, could pack up to 414-HP

There have been several reports that VW may build the Golf R 400 concept with its 395-hp 2.0L turbocharged engine. Now a VW exec has confirmed that it will be produced and that its final output could rise to around 414 horsepower.

Aston Martin continues with plans for a crossover

Last month Aston Martin previewed its first crossover with the DBX crossover and now it's being reported that the brand may add a new plant in the U.S. to build it. According to the Financial Times, Aston Martin is already talking to several states about the new plant.

BMW i5 will be based on the 5 Series?

It's being reported that BMW is indeed working on a third model for its i sub-brand called the i5 and that it will be based on the 5 Series. The i5 will be a plug-in hybrid that is based on the long wheelbase version of the 5 Series that is currently only available in China.

Volvo has announced the pricing for the 2016 XC90 T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid that is going to arrive this summer. Pricing is starts at $69,095 with destination fees included for the "Momentum" model, while the "Inscription" model starts at $72,595 and the "R-Design" $70,995.

Volvo exec confirms hybrid versions of all its future models

A Volvo executive has revealed that Volvo will soon offer hybrid versions of its entire lineup. Thanks to the higher than expected demand for its existing hybrid models, including the new XC90 T8 plug-in hybrid, Volvo is going to make it a priority to electrify all of its models.

Volvo XC90 'Excellence' to debut this month in Shanghai

Volvo has unveiled the XC90 Excellence, which is going to debut later this month at the Shanghai Auto Show. On the outside it looks identical to the other XC90 models, but inside the biggest difference is that the standard seven seats have been swapped out with just four seats.

Rolls-Royce Project Cullinan previews the brand's new SUV

Rolls-Royce is continuing with its plans to introduce its first-ever SUV and now its modified a Phantom Series II to test the future SUV's suspension. What you see here is the Project Cullinan, which is an early engineering mule, based on a shortened Phantom Series II body that has been created purely to begin the development of an all-wheel drive suspension system.

Mercedes and Nissan join forces to build midsize pickup

Audi RS 3 and Q8 announced for the U.S.

VW continues to expand the Golf lineup and coinciding with the arrival of the new Golf SportWagen, VW has announced that the all-wheel-drive Alltrack model will go on sale in 2016 as a 2017 model. The Alltrack model adds a 4Motion all-wheel-drive system, nearly an inch of ground clearance wheel arch moldings and flared side sills that offer body protection, newly designed bumpers, and an even more upscale interior.
