With only 3,300 units planned for production, the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon is going to be extremely limited, which naturally means that some dealers could try to put some hefty markups on the $85k price tag. Dodge has decided that it’s going to try to prevent the dealer markups on the Challenger SRT Demon, which will mean that you can hopefully get one at or close to MSRP.
The 840-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Demon arrives this fall
Only 3,000 units will be produced for the United States, while Canada will get an even smaller number at only 300 units. To prevent dealers from ordering too many or to prevent insane markups, Dodge has announced a special allocation plan.

“We learned a lot when we launched the wildly popular SRT Hellcats,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands, Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT—FCA North America. “We’ve taken that information and created an allocation plan that is clear and concise, builds on Demon’s position as the Dodge//SRT halo and makes it easy for our customers to understand how they can put a Demon into their garage and, ultimately, out on the drag strip.”
