Audi has unveiled the top dog of the Audi R8 lineup, the 2018 Audi R8 Spyder V10 plus. Thanks to its 610 horsepower V10, the R8 Spyder V10 plus is the fastest series-production convertible model ever from Audi.
The 2018 Audi R8 Spyder V10 Plus zooms from 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds
The R8 Spyder V10 plus is powered by the same 5.2-liter V-10 as the R8 V10 Plus coupe, which means that it has the same 610 horsepower and 413 lb-ft. of torque. The numbers represent a nice bump over the R8 V10 Spyder with its 540 horsepower and 398 lb-ft. The V10 is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission and sends its power to all four wheels. The R8 Spyder V10 Plus reaches 62 mph in 3.3 seconds (0.3 seconds faster than the R8 Spyder V10) and has a top speed of 203.8 mph.

Audi has not announced the availability of the R8 Spyder V10 plus in the US, but orders are now being accepted for the Audi R8 Spyder V10 plus, in Germany with the first deliveries starting in late summer 2017. The base price in Germany is 207,500 euros.
