Honda has unveiled a new compact crossover for South America - the WR-V, which stands for "Winsome Runabout Vehicle."
Honda says that it designed the WR-V as a vehicle that realizes a "tough and urban" SUV design with excellent utility and a spacious cabin within a compact body size.
"Including the establishment of a new automobile R&D Center in Brazil which became operational in 2013, Honda has been strengthening its product development to accommodate the needs of customers in this region," stated Issao Mizoguchi, President and Director of Honda Automoveis do Brazil Ltda. "This WR-V is one of the major achievements resulting from such efforts. With the introduction of this new SUV, in addition to the CR-V and HR-V, we will further strengthen the presence of Honda in the South American region."
