2017 Chevy Bolt can officially drive 238 miles on a single charge

Chevy is slated to begin production of the much anticipated 2017 Chevy Bolt EV by the end of the year. Chevy has now announced that the Bolt will have an EPA-estimated driving range of 238 miles. Initially Chevy estimated that the Bolt's driving range would be around 200 miles, so now the new estimate gives the Bolt a longer driving range than the base Tesla Model S 60 model.

The Bolt will officially arrive in select Chevy showrooms by the end of the year with a starting price below $37,500 before the available $7,500 federal tax credit.
