The official performance specs for the 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 have leaked online ahead of Chevy's official announcement. According to the leaked specs, the 2017 Camaro ZL1 will have 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft. of torque.
The specs are slightly higher than Chevy originally estimated that the Camaro ZL1's supercharged 6.2L V8 would generate. With 10 more horsepower and 10 more lb-ft. of torque, the Camaro ZL1's specs mirror the more expensive Corvette Z06, which is powered by the same engine. The V8 can be mated to either a six-speed manual or 10-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Chevy has not announced the pricing for the 2017 Camaro ZL1, but will likely start in the mid-$60k range.
