2017 Toyota Corolla gets a refresh

Toyota is giving the Corolla a mild facelift for the 2017 model year, which includes a restyled grille and front bumper, new taillights and updated wheels.

The 2017 Corolla will also have more standard equipment on the L, LE and LE Eco trim levels, which now come with bi-LED headlights and a standard rearview camera. The SE, XSE and XLE trim levels come with upgraded LED headlghts, a better interior and sound system.

All trim levels will be available with the Toyota Safety Sense-P package, which includes automatic high beams, dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert and a pre-collision system with a pedestrian detection system.

There aren't any changes under the hood, which means the 2017 Corolla will continue with the standard 1.8L four-cylinder that can be mated to a six-speed manual, four-speed automatic or a continuously variable transmission.
