Next-Gen 2015 Chrysler 200 to Launch in January

It's being reported that the next-generation 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan will be unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January. Automotive News is reporting that the 2014 Chrysler 200 will enter production this July with production ending in January of next year when the new sedan is unveiled.

The new Chrysler 200 will be based on a Fiat platform and will get the same nine-speed automatic transmission as the new 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The fate of the Chrysler 200's twin, the Dodge Avenger is not known. Las year Chrysler sold 125,476 units of the Chrysler 200, which was up 44 percent from the prior year. So far this year sales are up 21 percent.
