Although Fiat has been so kind to release two photos of the new electric 500e, Fiat hasn't released any other details. Overall the 500e won't look too different from the other Fiat 500 models. On the outside the 500e gets a new lower front fascia, new side sills and more aerodynamic wheels. The interior of the 500e is also pretty much the same, with a redesigned gauge cluster and push buttons taking the place of a traditional gear shifter.

Fiat will show the 500e on the "green carpet" at the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 18 ahead of its debut at the LA Auto Show. Fiat hasn't announced if the 500e will be available nationwide, with California being the only confirmed state to receive the new EV in 2013.
