The Sexier 2013 Toyota Avalon Starts at $30,990

2013 Toyota Avalon Hybrid
Toyota has announced the pricing for the all-new 2013 Toyota Avalon, which starts at $30,990 and goes all the way up to $42k for the top of the line Avalon Hybrid. The biggest change you'll notice immediately with the new Avalon is its new "sexier" styling that quickly makes you forget about every other Avalon before it.

Toyota is offering two powertrains in the new Avalon, the standard 3.5L V6 and the Avalon's first ever hybrid powertrain. The Avalon V6 model is powered by a 268-hp, 3.5-liter V6 mated to a 6-speed automatic, which is rated at 21 city mpg and 31 mpg on the highway. The Avalon Hybrid is powered by a hybrid system that includes a 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle, four cylinder engine, an electronic CVT that contains two electric motors and a 244.8 volt battery that help produce an overall system output of 200 hp. The Avalon Hybrid is rated 40 mpg in the city, and a 39 mpg on the highway for a combined 40 mpg EPA-rating.

The 2013 V6 Avalon and Avalon Hybrid arrive in dealerships at the beginning of December.
