Honda has unveiled two new concepts at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, the Concept C sedan and the Concept S hatchback. According to Honda the two concepts models preview the direction of new Hondas that will be introduced in China next year.
The Concept C stands for "Cool," "Challenge," and "China." The sedan features a design that was inspired by the image of a dragon. Honda's Chinese team lead the development of the Concept C with help from Honda's team in Japan. Honda describes the design of the Concept C as "stately, distinctive and sporty."
The Concept S is a new global concept model that was designed primarily for the Chinese market, which is also why it will go on sale there first. The "S" stands for "Stylish," "Smart" and "Surprise." The Concept S is powered by a hybrid powertrain that realizes both the "fun of driving" and excellent environmental performance at the same time.
