VIDEO: Honda Has Sure Come a Long Way Since 1972

Kinda hilarious. It's a little hard to tell what she is saying throughout the whole commercial.

Classic....

WOW, that was BEYOND stereotypical...

There was a customer of where I used to work that had a sport coupe that looked very similar to the yellow one. (His was yellow as well.)

And I love the fact that Honda was sold at a Chevy dealer....if they only knew the future.

SteelCity1981:

That Asian woman is hot! :)

Totenglocke:

@ SteelCity

Yea, totally. Couldn't care less about the crappy cars, I was only looking at her.

muscleoverrice:

The question though is, does it have vtec?

kw:

I remember that era. I recall noting how people were laughing at the Japanese imports, but not really looking into them. 1973 changed all that.

Phil:

im glad they have people who actually speak english doing their commercials now. i cant handle that nonsense!

Q for Phil:

Her English wasn't perfect, but how's your Japanese?

lotsofTRidiots:

Guys, she's most likely Southeast Asian...meaning she isn't Japanese. Her accent isn't even near Japanese.

Anyway, muscleoverrice, in answer to your sarcastic "rhetoric," vtech wasn't developed at the time.

And Phil, I'm almost certain even YOU have a hard time speaking/writing English properly, let alone a FOREIGN language.
