Bugatti unveiled the 16C Galibier Concept in Frankfurt last month and reportedly it has been given the green light for production according to Auto Express.

The four-door concept features a 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine borrowed from the Veyron, which will be detuned to 800 horsepower and mated to a conventional eight speed transmission. It's estimated that the Galibier would reach a top speed of 220 mph.

If these reports are true expect to see the Galibier's release in 2013 with a price tag of £900,000 price tag, which is about $1.4 million.

Blue Z34:

NOOOOOOOOO!!! UGLY!!! 220? XFR can do 225! EPIC FAIL!!!

Brian:

I admit I do like the chrome. That's pretty kick ass.

But if you can pony up 1.4 million, why not go for the Veyron? I mean really.

426Hemi:

Yeah I'd stick with the Veyron.

No_money:

LOL

Why wouldn't they just go for a Veyron?

Because they probably already have 1, 2 or 3 like those wealthy sheiks in the middle east.

muscleoverrice:

cause the Veyron doesnt have room for hot bitches.

muscleoverrice:

cause the Veyron cant fit a group of hot bitches!

gdp:

I think it is ugly the grill reminds me of the Ford Edsel. For that much money they could make the front look better.

Totenglocke:

Call me crazy, but given that this car weighs MORE than a Veyron, why would you want to lower the power?

wvo:

I'd love to rent this thing, drive up to micky d's, and order a jr cheeseburger and a coke...just to see people look and marvel.

Noya:

@ Totenglocke,

So the conventional 8-speed automatic won't destroy itself.

GRIZZ:

Looks like a shiny Panamera with a square nose at 14 times the price.

Totenglocke:

@Noya

Build a stronger wussamatic. It's a freaking $1.4 million car - they can spend some money for a better transmission.

426Hemi:

@Tote

Why bother when rich people will spend more for less any way.

Bill:

I just ate lunch and now I feel ill looking at that
