Spy Shots: 2011 Infiniti QX56 Shows up in the Middle East

Infiniti is set to release a new QX56 SUV for the 2011 model year, but the large SUV was on display in the Middle East and one lucky guy managed to capture two shots of it.

Overall the 2011 QX56 is much smoother looking that the current generation. It features certain styling elements from the smaller FX. The QX56 is based on the Nissan Safari/ Patrol.

The 2011 QX56 should make its official debut at the Tokyo Motor Show.

IT BURNS!

Trooper Bri:

WTF!

8 years ago today an event happened that I will never forget. Today it happened again...

One of the ugliest trucks in history was revealed. Where to start?
Nissan did well with the passenger car side of Infiniti. What happened here?

DuDe:

Front looks much better than current gen. Back is really ugly, IMHO.

Chad:

I'll reserve final comment until I see it in person, but so far it looks a little funky.

I will say though, considering the reception the original QX56 received, it would be hard to do any worse.

Kawi:

As luxurious as it may be, I don't like it. We don't need yet another big SUV. Don't sell it in the States, please.

mark ross:

you guys wait, i think it will be fine. for one it will be one of the only big vehicles left in the suv world, but the ass end is a bit worriesome. i have faith though.

Ton:

Let's be realistic...The front is beautiful, but the rear, I agree, is not great...Wait until we see it live...It will be one the best large SUV's in the market. Don't jump on asumption!!!!
