The 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour hasn't received the positive feedback that Honda was hoping...just take a look at the Facebook page dedicated to the new model. Well Honda has released some more photos of the new CUV in red, but does it look any better? Not really...

Yes... still ugly. Looks like the love child of a Honda Insight and a Dodge Magnum, sprinkled with some Aztec.

It's not just ugly, it's FUGLY! Visibility looks like it would be just awful.
But, put a V8 in it and give it decent pulling power, and they will come....

Yep still fugly'
Honda need to do their homework before launching such vehicles, coz they effect the whole lineup, especially when you have Kia's and hyundai's launching promising models one after another.
Time to take things 4 granted are long gone!

Just when you thought Honda couldn't produce a more sterile & uninteresting vehicle, they set the bar to a new low.

Not quite as ugly as that first photo, which never should have been sent out in the first place. Still, this car won't win any beauty contests. They should rename it the HFT... the Honda Family Truckster.

I am a little insulted as an American, why is it that the ugliest cars always end up in America. Man the European have these nice sleek looking rides and the Japanese have the same. What is going on that car makers think we have this crazy nasty taste for something big an ugly. This thing is ugly, and I have been a die hard fan of Honda for a long time, if this is the crap they are going to continue to bring out then I am going to find another car maker to buy from.

Americans get these ugly things because all of the "die hard fan of Honda" folks buy them. Also because it seems to have become anti-American to buy American cars.

This is one ugly vehicle; the answer to the question nobody asked. They will sell it however. People are sheep, and since this is the new Honda, then people will want it.

Its pretty ugly... i wouldn't buy it or lease it or even want it in my driveway.... they may build reliable cars, but they need to make them look cool too... hell, even Toyota has said they build boring cars and are going to do something about it... Now if they can tell GM and Chrysler that... things might get a bit better here in Detroit.

Honda cars have always been ugly, just as most of other Japanese vehicles (IMHO). People buy them not for looks, but for value and reliability. One of my cars is an Accord and I always have thought it was really bland-looking, however you cannot beat what you get for less than 20K in a car like this. I have learned to like it overtime for its other qualities.

For a cross-over it's ok, but that's not really a complement. I mean this isn't BAD looking, but all cross-overs look bulky and ungainly.
I think it's a category where people need to give up on hopes of 'prettiness' and just surrender to 'functional.'
Posted by kw | September 8, 2009 1:42 PM

What the hell is functional about a cross-over?
It's got slightly more room than a sedan? If you need more space that badly buy a wagon or an SUV.

The comment system works fine. Click the post button ONCE and wait.
I'm getting sick of the word crossover (or crossport, crosstour, whatever!) quickly. In the auto industry it appears to mean "we can't decide what segment we want to build this vehicle in" for the most part.
It's a freakin' wagon Honda. The past Accord wagon looked fine, and so would this without the identity crisis welded on behind the rear doors.

Anybody remember the AMC Eagle 4WD wagon? It didn't sell well 30 years ago and I'm pretty sure this modernized version of it won't fare any better.

@ Trooper Bri: If your idea of 'working' means clicking once and then waiting for the page to time out after a minute, then yes, it functions beautiful.
You and I know how it works, but many others don't, hence the multiple reposts in every thread.
How hard would it be to fix this thing?
