One of the smartest lineups for a auto company..

bob:

The Insight sucks, though....

Brian:

@bob

And so? I think one of the main reasons Honda's sell so well in the US is due to repeat buyers. Not that's a bad thing, but sometimes it's not a good thing either. Again I think this also lends itself (and the reputation they built up in the 90's against the domestics for durability) to their higher resell value.

Noya:

@ Bob, the insight is exactly what it's supposed to be, a sub-$20k hybrid.

@ Brian, I would say repeat buyers, but also new buyers (recent college grads, possible starting families). I would also say it's their high quality materials- sit in an Accord, then a Camry and Altima. The Accord easily has the best interior and driving dynamics for its class.

Mike:

They need a light truck to compete with the Tacoma. The Ridgeline is too high end.
One with an extra cab and half doors in the back - 4 cyl and V6.
I think that would be neat.

SteelCity1981:

I was reading a nice sum of Honda insight owners were a bit upset at the lack of quality in the Insight that the Pirus has over it. If that is the case i'd expect that to be changed with the next revision.

TrainRekS:

cant complain with a profit.
