BMW has released a few official photos of the upcoming X1 draped in camouflage.

According to TimesOnline there will be three engine choices in Europe: a 177hp diesel and 204hp diesel, and a gas powered 272bhp 3.0L V6. The US is likely to only receive the V6 when the X1 is released here.

We can expect to see the official production version of the X1 at the Frankfurt Motor Sow this September.

another SUV/crossover/whatever.

Set the bitch on fire already, preferably with the management team inside.

How original. The manufacturer is slowly trying to get consumers to adapt to the new butt ugly piece of useless crap.

Releasing stupid camufulaged photos of own cars? What unbelievable idiocy. What is next? Exec sex videos in cars released by company execs?

Pathetic and a stupd approach.

BMW have been making some good progress considering past design misses but this is one of the misses again.

Wow, this is almost as hideous as the X3. I wish BMW would stick to making cars instead of these Frankenstein low SUV/tall car/wagon monstrosities.

RC:

Reminds me of a last-gen Hyundai Santa Fe. So many auto manufacturers, so few inspired vehicle designs.

Tom:

V6? WTF? BMW Doesn't make V6; inline-6.
Damn Bmw. no more X please. make more Cars and roadsters. ;)

Patrick:
