SteelCity1981:

I thought the pilot was good but the series just became stale and unappealing after the first few shows of the series.

Kryojenix:

I, on the other hand, saw the first few minutes of the pilot and realised this was a non-starter. I switched it off. The TV channel had just shown Disney's Cars movie before and it was much superior.

PigVenus:

I was horribly disappointed by the pilot and never watched another episode after that. I was expecting it to be "family friendly" like the original series and it _most definitely_ was not.

coolkev99:

Could have been good, but terrible acting, poor stories and pornification killed it.

sparky:

Maybe they could make a 'family friendly' car movie on the channel dedicated to it (and use a VW beetle again). But, if not, then at least have the classic car wash scene with the chicks and a ferarri or porsche or lamborghini car on every episode to keep the ratings high, or put a chopper chase scene too lol...

Steve:

Ultimately constant auto repair costs for the Ford Mustang tanked the show.

Mr. Honda:

What we really need is a series based upon a talking, riced-up Honda Civic (with English subtitles).

Ravicai:

@ Mr. Honda

lmao! Dude, that would be hilarious.

"Take this damn fart pipe off me!"

Andrew:

Honestly, the show just really sucked... I mean come on, a Mustang that can transform into a F150 Supercab?...

Some of the other tech stuff was good, but again, how many people already have some of the things that was installed in this car?

Also, they should have used another Pontiac, it is dead now, but if the original "designer" of the car loved Pontiac, why would he change to a Ford?

gm0n3y:

@Steve, nice
@Mr Honda, that actually sounds more interesting

This show was really just a circle jerk by Ford; a not so subtle advertising campaign.

ZzjitterzZ:

I might have been the only one who liked it, I guess. I was a huge fan of the original series when it aired in the '80s, and of course the new series isn't nearly as good, but it wasn't horrible.

Plus the female lead was smokin' hot. Always helps :)

Noya:

I deleted if from the HD DVR after watching a mere 15 minutes. For the show to have lasted a couple of seasons they would have needed a "big name" (for TV anyways) as the lead male, not some goofy jock no one had ever heard of.

Allen:

One word:

Finally.

Kristian:

I fell asleep watching it halfway. Forgot which episode, but I only remember the girls anyway. :)

Brian:

I really liked the original 80's run of it, but come on, this one really sucked. I thought they had a good choice in the car, but they could have done something to it to make different.

The pilot was horrible, why spend so much money in launching a new series where the coolest thing the car of the future does is change colors? The reason the original car was great wasn't because what car it was, but all the cool gadgets the car had on it. Don't get me started on the reuse of the bat cave, and the fake use of cgi dropping the car out of a airplane.

WVO:

I didn't bother to go past the commercials promoting that new show. I saw it was a Ford and decided the entire show was just advertising for them. Don't get very interested at a recycling of old ideas anyway. One has to think to get a fresh idea (or be very lucky). The producers did neither.

Patrick:

It was a good looking car,but Val Kilmer's creepy voice made me change the channel.
