BMW X6 xDrive50i Ambulance Concept...Another Car That No One Asked For

BMW has created a new concept of the X6 that no one has probably asked for, although a few ambulance drivers may rejoice. The BMW X6 xDrive50i Ambulance concept is going to be shown off at the upcoming RETTmobil rescue vehicle show in Fulda, Germany.

The concept is powered by the 407hp twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 and is being positioned as the first responder vehicle, which would carry a doctor or paramedic to a scene before the actual ambulance. Which is a good thing because its doubtful that an X6 ambulance could hold nearly as much as a regular ambulance.

Totenglocke:

Yea, but no other ambulance can get you to the hospital in under 3 minutes!

sweet:

Actually, I asked for this.

Caveman:

With GM's imminent demise, perhap BMW should provide vehicles for Transformers 3.

I have always thought the X6 looks like something from a sci-fi movie.

Rey:

Dead or Alive arrive in a different style.

JoeW:

What these Germans thinking about... 407hp twin turbo for an ambulance?

Bill:

with all the fancy paint and graphics no-one will notice what a pointless car it is (BMW hopes)

David:

Who the hell is running BMW? A 3 year old? WTF is this crap they're putting out lately? UGH...

sparky:

Rough it up, scratch it up, smash it up some, and it would make a great mad-max movie car!

Cris:

Actually, ambulance drivers in Germany are not like the paramedics here in the States. A doctor, called a notartz responds to all emergency calls, but does not ride with the ambulance. They dont have paramedics who do all the stuff they do here in america.
