Of course March sales were down last month compared to March 2008 with GM down 45 percent. For the most part most of the major automakers posted a better month than February, but the sales were still dismal.
Here's the list of the top ten best-selling vehicles last month. Of course most of the same models are listed:
-Ford F-Series: 32,728
-Toyota Camry: 25,783
-Chevy Silverado: 23,508
-Honda Accord: 22,722
-Toyota Corolla: 22,257
-Honda Civic: 20,645
-Nissan Altima: 19,521
-Dodge Ram: 19,328
-Chevy Malibu: 14,772
-Honda CR-V: 12,959

so many truck are being sold now. I guess maybe cuz they are greatly improving on gas mileage? Or cuz its so damn cheap right now.

3 pickup trucks... 4 family sedans... 2 compact cars... 1 little s.u.v... but no partrige in a pear tree! Blahh Ha!
3 Hondas... 2 Toyotas... 2 Chevys... 1 Nissan... 1 Dodge... 1 Ford...
6 to 4 for the Imports...
The F-150 wins again, followed by the Silverado [like always]... but what about "The truck thats changing it all?" I also wonder about how the Titan sells are [laugh out loud]
Nothing their out of the ordinary, but im a little suprised on the Malibu with recent GM troubles.
Im suprissed theirs no Challenger on the list because I see those things poping up everywhere.

wtf does race have to do with trucks? what a bunch of morons. do those statistics also infer that mexicans are able to buy more new vehicles than any other race in the US because the f150 series has outsold just about everything for many years now. Well I know that for every F-150/F-250 I see that has every part for that specific year on it from the JC Whitney catalog, there is a Mexican driving it...

And doesn't the term "F-series" refer to the whole "F" lineup? I.E. F-150, F-250, etc. etc. Nonetheless, I'm glad that the Ford F-series is still selling well. Five years ago I'd never be caught dead in a Ford, but now I'm considering a new Fusion or Taurus.
