There's more bad news for Cadillac fans in Europe. Yesterday it was reported that GM had stopped plans to introduce a much needed V6 turbodiesel for Cadillac in Europe. Today it looks like GM has decided to pull Cadillac out of half of Europe.
GM has decided to halt Cadillac sales in half of Europe following the collapse of its regional distributor, Kroymans. The issue obviously has to do with the collapse of auto sales.
“We will take it down to less than a dozen markets,” a GM Europe source told Automotive News Europe.
As of right now Cadillacs are sold in 25 European countries.

I'm not in the EU, but about the only Caddy I would consider is the CTS-V... and there would have to be a real shortage of other cars to buy.
Not that I don't like Cadillac, just not my "type" of car.
Maybe if GM killed Olds they could reposition the Caddy for the asian market? I wonder if they'd make running boards standard on the Escalade (or are they)?

But in the real world were I am paying for it, things I like rarely win out of things I need....
I like to blame my parents for my frugal-ness, but really it's probably genetics considering everyone in my family is the same way (for several generations).
