I second the Riddick comment, I love that movie, its hilarious. As for this horror, it should have been aborted long ago, instead now we get to see it be still-born and flop into theaters.

@Charlie:
I guess that brings new meaning to the term:
"Ride the Lighting"
AHAHAHAHAHA
But don't worry if Vin's in it, he'll have his blown muscle car (even if it's running on ethanol.)

Oh come one, how can you leave out "The Pacifier"?????

The movies only got better as they continued the first movie features horrific acting - the sequel had Paul Walker more 'on his game' and deserving of a lead role. The third movie is unique to me, and I thought it was very good as well. I've been excited about this one since I first heard it was rumored. Can't wait!

Vin Diesel has really matured as an actor since the first FF came out as well; don't get it twisted - he's not a great actor, I'm just saying uch improved.
BTW, the Pacifier was pretty great too : )

I saw the first FF because I was stuck, bored, in a town that had a single theater and that was the only movie showing.
What a crap, all show no substance movie. The action was so lame that they tried to make it exciting by overusing 'shakey-cam' filming to the point you could hardly tell what was going on. I suspect that was a blessing, but that's not a complement.
It would be no surprise to me if later FF films were better. I shudder to think they could get any worse.
Boggles my mind that the import-tuner crowd didn't rise up a denounce these films as an insult. I love the potential in import-tuning, but I think the FF franchise is doing that market a huge disservice.

@Topper,
The Pacifier was alright, but it's a lot like saying Schwarzenegger's better in Kindergarden Cop than T2.

if it did such a "disservice" then did EVERY news station in the US do a thing on street racing like a month after it came out, blaming this movie specificly? and cops kept saying that since the movie came out they've caught more and more people street racing?
