Although a few automakers have shelved plans to have any big releases at the Detroit Auto Show next month, a few such as Volvo, Subaru and Audi are still planning some big intros.
Subaru has released a single teaser photo of the Legacy Concept that the automaker will unveil next month. The concept is supposed to provide a glimpse of what the next generation Legacy will look like. The Legacy Concept also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Legacy.
Stay tuned...

I don't share your sentiment on the looks. How does it look in the light is more important than how it looks in a dusk night time setting. Something Malibu looking about it, And that's not a bad thing.
Still not interested in this box.

Good grief, the currently Legacy is already hot. And I don't see how you make it much better.
I won't pass judgement yet, but I feel that Alfa design slipping back in....

With the angular lines & slight squat it looks slightly CTS-ish.

Used to be edgy and hard. Now its rounded and soft. I guess they lost their gonads.

If they are going to keep that look, they have to offer a model with a ton of power, otherwise its just a wierd looking car.

Too bad this concept will look completely diff and hardly share nothing with the production model in typical Subaru fashion.

I think it looks pretty aggressive and modern. I've always been a fan of the Legacy 2.5GT specB.

@Noya,
Exactly, the Legacy 2.5GT Spec B is the 2nd best looking car Subaru has come out with. And I don't think this does that justice. But, like I said I'll wait to see the whole thing and preferably in a production format.
The best looking car (in my opinion) is the Sti 22B.

To be honest it still looks a lot like a Subaru. Just wait until they show the whole car in lighting. The distinct Subaru traits that some people love other people hate but all agree are uglyish are still present here.
The bulge in the bumper, the roofline, the outline of the headlights, they are all very similar to what the Legacy has now.Which to some will be good and others will not.
I personally am not a huge Subaru fan, and that is after owning a Legacy Spec B for 4 months. I bought it slightly used under the impression that the performance and the value would make me love the car and overlook its other quirky features. Unfortunately with MY07 they introduced some funky engine management that robbed performance, caused stuttering and virtually killed all affordable modability.
