SteelCity1981:

Impressive, although I think the black around the grill would look better outlined in chrome.

Bradford:

I like it!

Victor:

This model looks like they made more effort in design to meet with European designs. I give them credit for that. Now if they could improve or change the live axle. This car would benefit the same drive configuration as RWD from Germany. And the engine, they should send engineers of the Ford Germany and Ford Australia to the U.S. engine design team. They might teach U.S. engineer how to improve engine reliability and quality and power in a small package. I could see this car with a lot of effort from Ford and theri engineers to make a quality sports coupe to compare to BMW, MB, Audi at least on the lowend.

Make mustang a hand made car and give the same prestige as those Euro cars.

Boris:

Victor, we are no longer living in the USSR

There isn't anyone who is going to buy a $80k mustang. If they did what you wanted, the same thing would happen to it that happened to the camaro last time. And the soyota supra. And the mazda rx-7.

They priced themselves out of their niche and they disappeared.

Tom:

Wow, after all the teaser images, this car looks so ... well ... how do I put it ... similar to the previous model. While expected, but what did Ford try to achieve with the teasers and creating the impression they would release something different?

Overall, not bad but not good either. At least it doesn't have the ridiculous body shape of the 80's and 90's anymore.

Sandman:

Obviously it would look similar. A mustang is a mustang is a mustang..... But there are plenty of differences all the way around.

The headlights are different, HID is finally an option, the lower valance, the entire rear end, the spoiler has been removed, the fenders are a part of the body line instead of gaping attachments, and they are finally adding different wheel packages.

Not to mention the entire thing looks like its smaller, which is an impressive feat given the same underpinnings.

The interior is way better, they've had those three giant A/C paddle nobs forever in just about every single vehicle they make for the past 15 years. The dash is much nicer, the older one was so monotonous. It looked like one giant piece of boring.

Corey:

Oh my...I hardly recognized it!

Lights, wheels and some different plastic...big deal
