Toyota unveiled the Venza crossover earlier this year, but since then we haven't heard much about Toyota's newest crossover.
Today Toyota officially announced the pricing for 2009 Venza that starts at $25,975 for the 2.7L four-cylinder, front wheel drive model. The top of the line 3.5L V6 with AWD goes for $29,250.
I don't know how much longer I can look at that grille.
See all the pricing specifics below.

Pretty ugly and pretty pricey. I don't think I'd consider buying that ever.

The grille is the only ugly thing about it to me. Otherwise it looks pretty good for a cross over.

I now ask that all audience members hold their applause until the nominations are read, and the winner is announced.
This years top 3 nominees for Ugliest Grille in 2008 are:
1.) 2009 Acura TSX
2.) 2009 Toyota Venza
3.) 2008 Ford Fusion
And the winner of the 2008 Ugliest Grille in 2008 award goes to the late entry Toyota Venza!! Come on up and get your ugly ass award!
Other than that, the car is pretty. Pretty ugly, and pretty expensive. Isn't the Highlander about the same price ? Why would i want this car instead ?

Between this or the Ford Flex, I'd take the Ford any day of the week. Not that I'd willingly purchase either though. Talk about pulling an Acura.

There doesn't seem to me much room in the trunkspace, but it might be hard to see with the sloped rear window. It really just looks like a bloated Camry. Why not just offer a Camry stationwagon? Oh wait, you wouldn't be able to call it a "crossover"?

In this day and age they didn't release the fuel economy numbers? That's one hell of an omission unless the mpg's really suck.

Aside from the front, this car isn't that hideous. It looks fairly roomy inside and Toyota could've probably put in a very cramped third row but chose not to.
I'm glad to see the interior isn't as disgusting as the current Camry's. I hope whoever designed the current Camry interior was fired or at least demoted.

Looks like it has some similarities with the upcoming 2010 Lexus RX to me.
Rear end typical Lexus RX?
Interior strangely resembling the 2010 RX's?
All that makes sense to me when you look at the Toyota Camry vs. Lexus ES

I apparently didn't get the memo that stated the new politically correct term for station wagon would be crossover...
