Here's a video of the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V at the Milford Proving Ground, at the Monticello Raceway in New York and at the Nurburgring track, where John Heinricy completed a lap in 7:59.32.

The 2009 Cadillac CTS-V is powered by a 556 horsepower supercharged 6.2L V8 mated to either a 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission. Cadillac has announced that the uber-fast CTS-V will start at $59,995.

Noya:

How bad ass is Monticello Raceway in New York? Ah, the perks of being rich lol.

On another note, if you're an enthusiast and have never been on a race track in a decently powered/prepped car (even as passenger)...you're missing out big time.

Sandman:

Brilliant! Welcome back Caddy!

Brian:

That's just what grandpa needs. Something that can do a burnout into second gear. Yet a Ford Festiva could out accelerate him the way he drives....

All in all, it's pretty cool. To bad most people won't use and abuse properly.

lowest iq:

Lehman-special. I cant think of anything else to say. Lehman-special.

FrankO:

Awesome. Caddy has come a long way in a short time from land yachts to the V-Series. I say ... welcome home.

Bradford:

I used to work at a Cadillac dealership and kinda wish I stuck around to take a little 'test drive' in one of these bad boys. But would I trust it after 75,000 miles.....

freddy:

What a joke the commentator was. That guy is a wanker big time. The video did not show much at all, lets see, the badge, the guy rubbing the front, a burn out, lots of crap talk. Where was the interior and a proper video of its handling capabilities?

Sadistic:

I cant wait to drive this beast up in Monticello in 2 weeks!
