Earlier this week Lamborghini released a single teaser image of a new vehicle that is going to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show next month.
The only thing that we could see from the original teaser was the vehicle's exhaust. Now we have a shot of the wheel and front fender. It's still not known what type of Lamborghini this is going to be, although there are rumors that it could be a four-door sedan.
We'll see...

I hope for Lamborghini's sake that if the rumor is true, that it's a 4 door like the RX-8, and not the Porsce (Puke) Panamera, cause that thing is fugly.
Although it could be descendant of the LM002!!!!!
......or not.

Well, it's got tires, wheels, and disc brakes. That's a good start in making a car.

I don't know about you, but when i see teaser images of other cars, such as the Volt, i dont get "teased" very well. But with this teaser image, I am screaming (in my head of course) "What are you!"

Nice rims; a gothic 'spider' edge to them. My guess is that there are four of them, have 5 lug nuts each, with low profile tires. Also, at least front disc breaks and there is at least one front quarter panel standard on the car with about 4" of ground clearance. So far that means it is like 80% of the cars on the road, wow I'm impressed (except I like the rims). What's with the rainbow emblem?
Teaser images and concept drawings are a waste of time. We live in an instant gratification society, having teaser images can be a negative in this higher end market's consumer mentality (Camaro anyone?). Rarely, concept cars make it to production and when they do, so heavily modified that they disappoint (Volt anyone?).
About the only thing a teaser image does is to attempt to delay a consumer's decision to buy a competitor car until it is finally released. Hopefully, the original car that a person intends to buy is no longer the newest design and the consumer is suckered to buy their model instead.

Maybe they're getting on the retro bandwagon... could this be an all new Lamborghini Miura?
Yeah! :)

Scott; Is it really possible to mention Lamborghini and the RX8 in the same post?. Two classes. Two different worlds.
Today, there is an Italian 4-door GT coupe out there (Maserati Quattroporte). It's drop dead sexy,
And, yes: Bring on some competition, Lamborghini. Welcome...

I don't think that's a rainbow, it's an Italian flag... sort of. The colors are technically backwards; green should be on the mast side.
How did they backlight "PZero" on those tires? Or is that not a lighted logo on the tire? If it is, that's wicked.
It wouldn't really suprise me if it were a sedan.. or as so popular to say nowadays, a "four door coupe." I can still see it being very snazzy, though.

sparky, you do know that what you call the "rainbow" emblem is the italian flag colors? But upside down really..

I just have this horrible feeling its going to be a spruced up current model with some different body molding...
And to the Torque Report: just once you should do a "teaser image" post, then when we actually click in there is a scantily clad woman instead of the car.
I think its fun when blogs f*ck with their readers like that ;)

I wonder why Lambo has not put their beloved cars, such as the Murcielago, out on "the ring."
More to my disappointment,
Ford has never put (or even spoken of) their Ford GT on Nurburgring for a competetive time against the ZR1, ACR, or the GTR. Because of that, I ran around the ring (In Gran Turismo 4) in a stock 2005 GT on hard profile Sport tires and MT(to make it as fair as possible) and set a time of 7 minutes and 27 seconds. Don't worry; there wasn't nothin' funny goin' on and I drove as realistically and smooth as possible... GT4 is a Serious Driving Simulation Game.
The Ford GT has:
550hp, 500Ib-ft of torque, 0-60 in 3.2 sec

hey, does anyone remember the teaser image for the new impreza? turned out to be one of the world's ugliest cars! this won't happen here though, will it?

It won't be a sedan, but a 4-door coupé, Possible name is Urus and it's based on the Audi A8 platform.... Personally I'm expecting a new engine, less powerful than the average Lambo, but targeted to meet every requirement in emission laws wordwide.
@scott: you might not like the design of the Panamera, but Porsche is definately confident. They expect to sell 20,000 of 'm every year.....
