The Audi A8 is definitely one of the oldest cars in Audi's lineup and a redesign is in the works. The forum Gulf4Cars has posted a few photos of what we can expect the 2010 Audi A8 to look like, but the main question is are these photos real or just photo shopped.
If these photos are indeed real, the next A8 is going to feature a more evolutionary redesign. The front of the car features the same grille that we've now used to from Audi mated to new headlights that are similar to the rest of the new Audi lineup. The rear end also features taillights that are very similar to the new A4 and A6.
It remains to be seen if these photos are actually real...stay tuned.

The back end of this is reminiscent of the back end of a Mitsubishi Galant or the Infiniti Q-45. I expected a change to the front end to bring it inline with the rest of the brand, but the back end just seems dated before this thing is even official.

The grill is definitely overdone.
As for the backend, not curvy enough, which makes sense in a way: if it gets more curvy there, it wouldn't look much different that the current A8 rear.

Well I for one don't believe that this will be the new A8. The nose is believable, but the rest? Nope. The rear and side are just meh, not interesting at all. This could be a study model perhaps, but the next A8, I sure hope not.

Looks like a recent Volvo, to me. It's a good look for a Volvo, but not for an Audi, imo.

Just when I thought a grill couldn't look more hideous, along comes this abortion from Audi. Not only does the grill look completely ridicules, it makes the car look heavy and bloated. Would make a good anti-acid commercial, bloated gas under the hood; "Try Chevron anti-foam gas to reduce car grill bloating!"
This car appeals to male and female alike. For the guy, he can order the chip-shredder option to the list. Good option to get rid of a few dead tree branches by feeding them into the car (must be a huge blade behind that huge grill already). For the female, an option for steaming your cloths while simply hanging them in front of the car, like her iron would have. (wow, this sounds sexist doesn't it?)
But then, maybe Audi should just make the entire front end of the car one HUGE grill with build in headlights, fog and turn signals. Oh, and leave the rest of car look like something left over from the 90's since no-one will notice anyway. Or buy the deluxe model where the grill wraps all around the car!
Another thought, maybe since they don't have many pickup trucks to drive around overseas to make up for those with little manhood, they copied the huge dodge pickup grill to make them feel 'big'. Can you imagine looking in your rear view mirror and seeing this HUGE grill behind you? Probably cause accidents from the front driver laughing so hard..
No thanks Audi. Maybe a big fart pipe from the ricers would help.

Ain't NO WAY these pics are real. Look really closely at the tail lights...see how the left one overlaps the lip on the trunk? Also, when was the last time Audi put in BIG letters "Audi A8" right on the middle of the instrument cluster? And what happened to the rest of the tach? The round gauge would be visible on the other side of the steering wheel, but it's not! I'm gonna bet this is a photoshopped Lincoln concept.
