Earlier today a single photo scan of the revised 2009 Honda Element leaked onto the web. Now we have even more photos of the new Element thanks to HandA-Accessories.
The most obvious change to the 2009 Element is a new front end that is similar to that on the new Honda Pilot. Outback the Element gets new taillights and a revised rear door.
The official details for the new Element have yet to be released. What we do know is that the Element will be powered by the same 2.4L four-cylinder and will add a cooling fridge and navigation system to the options list.

If they are using the same engine, it needs to have an extra 20hp with the same or better gas mileage to compete.

For sure Guy. I like elements too. They look like neat cars. If they had like 170hp, i would be a great car.

Where the heck are you supposed to fit your fingers in that steering wheel? Yikes! Ah, well.
I think it is pretty good-looking for a box on wheels, but it still is a bit boring to me. I could see why you'd like it though..

Didn't it just get a minor facelift recently? I guess honda wanted more. Never the less it looks better.

@ Joan of Arc
'Where the heck are you supposed to fit your fingers in that steering wheel?.'
Your fingers should be kept on the outside of the wheel. The half second it takes to change hand positions could spell the difference between avoiding or getting involved in an accident. (@60mph your car travels 44 feet in half a second.)
The changes seem to 'busy up' the outside appearance, which disappoints me. I think simpler=better in most cases.
However, this vehicle hasn't really ever been about looks or performance. It's about utility. And THAT element of the Element doesn't appear to have changed.
