Aston Martin One-77 £1 Million Coupe Image Released

aston_77.jpg
Aston Martin has released the first image of the limited edition One-77, Aston's newest flagship.

At this point there aren't a lot of details about the new Aston Martin other than the fact that it is going to be powered by a 7.0-liter V12 and that the car should be able to reach 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed around 200 mph. The car also features a carbon fiber chassis with a hand crafted aluminum body.

Only 77 units are going to be produced of the new coupe. The £1 Million One-77 is going to be unveiled this fall with sales starting sometime after that.

This is the first new Aston Martin to be developed after Ford sold the automaker to a group of investors.

Stay turned for more details soon.

Looks nice, but not quite something you'll be willing to race in.

unknown:

like lambos astons were never really about winning races as they were about being a british super car. The interior and styling as well as ease of driving are more important in a aston then say how fast it can go. GT cars arent known for their cornering prowess.

lowest iq:

1 million for an image... signed by Rembrandt no doubt...

adrian:

i agree on the 2nd comment, it has nothing about performance or agility. total opposite of a nissan gtr.

lowest iq:

have driven a ciouple of eighties and nineties Astons.
I classify them as fast lorries.

$1 mill doesn't seem that bad for something with a very limited production, a V12, carbon fiber chassis, and hand crafted aluminium skin. (NOT that can could even afford a hundredth of that amount). Just comparing to other one million dollar super cars.

The picture doesn't thrill me. Maybe they will have a demo unit one day for the world to see?

lowest iq:

Why don't I have a life?

S_Howl:

Thats 1 Million british POUNDS not US dollars ...

mf:

Is this the next corvette?

Gary:

@mf:

I was actually thinking the same thing. It has a side profile that is very similar to the newer Vette's

gm0n3y:

But it still won't haul my kids or handle off road.

lowest iq:

It needs a v14

lowest iq:

I need a life.

Mike:

mf...even before seeing your comment I immediately thought the same thing. from this view i totally looks like a concept corvette. the very back end looks aston martin but everything else doesn't live up to my expectation of them being sex on wheels.

Saheed:

@Lowest iq

who ever is posting under the real one's name seriously has no life.

Anyway, the Aston's body is too tall for it to really be mistaken for a Corvette.

Sure, the side (excluding the back) resembles one, but you would have to be half blind to really get it mixed up.

Saheed:

I'll be your friend lowest iq.

Jason:

Beyond the looks, I wonder a little more about the engine. The new owners are really changing things up.
