All 2008 Honda Element owners are being asked to visit their nearby Honda dealer as soon as possible to have technicians inspect their vehicle. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration the front bushing bracket of the left trailing arm of the rear suspension may have been improperly welded and could separate from the trailing arm. A separated bushing bracket could cause the suspension to release the lower portion of the wheel hub, causing a loss of control and damage to the brake system which could lead to a crash.
NHTSA advises that current 2008 Honda Element owners stop driving their vehicles immediately until they have them inspected by the dealer. Only 241 vehicles are actually effected by this recall.

More crap like this from Honda is popping up all the time... They are really starting to slide. In the next few years they will become the next GM.......
And I really cannot say to Honda go back to your roots since the first American aimed Honda were nothing more than an enhanced lawn mower engine put on a chassis of an unsafe tin can...
Oh and to all the other people that need to worship the Honda God, here is a little prayer to recite... "Oh praise the Honda Gods for bringing this recall to light.. You have once again shown the world that you are a responsible manufacture of goods. Please forgive all others for they know not they sin with GM, Ford, or other Automotive Gods... "

@Roberto
No, our taste aren't "speciale"...
We just like seeing everyone else around us driving in crappy ugly cars. It gives us a small glimmer of happiness in the ever darkening pit of despair that is the American dream, no matter how short it may last....
I worked in retail for 5 years, my soul is dark and dead. I don't care about "your" issues and problems. It's not my problem so go bugger off.
