Noya:

The interior looks second rate compared to the Accord.

Personally, the car only looks good from the rear 3/4 view, like in the pic from the other day. The front RX8-like fenders are hideous and the side profile shows it's massiveness.

bubba551:

Please clarify:
Is this the all new European version or the all new US version.

(Your readers need to know in order to decide whether it look beautiful or cheap.)

Luke K:

Bubba

Its the American version, aint it obvious its all cheapened up!

bubba551:

I should have known.

(based on the v6, which is not available in Europe.)

JD:

Don't like the tail-pipes. I know they're consistent with the flow of the rear-lights, but they just don't look right (Works on the LS460, not on this one).

Also, fog-light housing (silver?) jumps out at you. Doesn't look so obvious in the silver car, but in the black-one, its just distracting. The Saabs have that now and it looks ugly in my opinion.

Trooper Bri:

I think Mazda Jumped the Shark for 2009.

The 3, 5, CX-7, and CX-9 had good, original exterior styling. And were selling pretty good by gauging the numbers we were seeing in our shop during the last holiday season for accessory upgrades.

Now it looks too smoothed out and generic (minus the fenders on steroids). Going by at night, i'd think it was a Toyota at first glance. The interior is still familiar though.

Larry:

From the front it didn't look too bad, but from the side view it looks like a chrysler sebring (not a good thing) to me. The interior looks like a Ford with hard flat plastics.

CKV:

Its both Japanese and Ford. I'm so confused. If it had hairy dashboard I would make cream stains in my pants.

Chris:

I hate that the entire Mazda line up is getting those ugly RX-8 wheel humps. I thought the current 6 was a nice looking car but this is a step in the wrong direction.

Jake:

I think it's a great looking car, more style than anything else in its class

D!:

At first I didn't like the styling of this car but it's grown on me. It does look to be one the better designs right now and with a starting price of 18.5K you can't go wrong.
