The all-new Ford Ka shares its basic underpinnings with the Fiat 500 and it will be built alongside it at Fiat’s Tychy plant in Poland. It is also expected that an ST version of the Ka is going to be powered by the 500 Abarth’s 1.4-liter turbocharged engine.
Ford has not announced any plans to import the car to the U.S. Expect more details on the all-new Ka soon, since the car is going to make its official debut in Paris this October.

What a hot ride. I can hardly curb my entusiasm until launch day. All the girls will think I'm the coolest guy ever when I'm in this bad boy.

Put it on Top Gear and they'll call it peg leg too.
To bad I can't get a Clio 197 state side.

They should import this to the N.A. market. It would complete well against the Honda Fit and Toyota Yaris. I happy to see Ford is selling what consumers these days actually want these days. Maybe we'll be able to go back to the days of the SUV once we solve our energy crysis....100 years from now haha.

Looks tons better than the Yaris or Fit, good job by Ford IMO. It's nice to see a decent design in a sub compact.

this is the new ford f-150 replacement. smart move naming it close to the kia and hopefully confuse some people into buying it.

I think the fiesta is the new Fit/Yaris competitor. This would be in the sub-sub compact market in the US. Looks pretty good though.

LOL at the F-150 replacement comment. Funny but kinda true. The big three are going to have to depend on small cars for their profits rather than the traditional trucks and SUVs they've been selling. I just want to see some good looking plug in electric cars that can go 1000miles on one charge. Just waiting for the battery technology to appear...

That technology already exists, it's called a nuclear reactor.

ya..mini nuclear reactors...You would get your car refilled with uranium once every 10 years! How awesome would that be. Incase of a car crash...minor chance of radiation poisoning with a hint of meltdown.

The Ka is smaller Fiesta which is smaller than the Focus. Ford is going to bring the Fiesta over but I doubt the Ka will make the trip, But the Ka? what would it compete with the Mini and the Fourtwo.
To put it into perspective
The Fourtwo is 106.1 inches long
The Orginal Mini was 120.1 inches long
This Ka should be about 139 inches long
The New Mini is 145.6 inches long
The Toyota Yaris is 150.6 Inches long
The Honda Fit is 156.9 inches long
The Fiesta should be about 168 inches long
The Nissan Versa is 169.1 inches long.
The Ford Fusion is 190.2 inches long
The Chrysler 300 C is 196.8 inches long.

1970 Chrysler Imperial was 5.8 meters long.
1958 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Sedan is 237.1" (6.02m)
Longest car is a 30.5 meter limo (26 passenger). (cad of course)
Ahh, the good old days..

I am going to get one to keep in my trunk instead of a spare tire.
A much better solution and more convenient too.

Looks pretty good ,but I still remembe having such a bad experience with the dealer when I last bought a Ford in 1997 that I can't buy another one.

That's right, Ford! Don't you DARE bring you inexpensive, high-fuel mileage car to the United States!!! Someone might buy them!
Once again, Americans get screwed and offered no choice of another highly efficient car (what, that would make 4 choices, then?).
I've been watching back episodes of Top Gear (UK) lately. It AMAZES me how many good choices Europeans have in the high fuel-mileage department. I was (am) astounded by the fast they the British pay more for petrol (gas) engines than diesels!!! Jeremy make an 800 mile trip on a single tank of fuel in a Audio V8 diesel sedan (20.4 gal tank) that was about the size of an Accord!!
Come one car-makers, bring the compact diesel cars to the U.S.!!!! Heck, just bring us some diesels!!

@lowest iq
actually it did have floor mats, but only 2quarts f oil in the crankcase and a hole in the oil filter. I had to have it towed at my expense from 2 towns over and it took a BBB complaint to resolve the issue.
