VIDEO: 2010 Cadillac CTS Coupe Caught at GM's Milford Proving Grounds

2010_cts_coupe_concept.jpg
GM officially unveiled the Cadillac CTS Coupe at the Detroit Auto Show this past January. At the time the automaker would not say if the car was ever going to enter production, although we all new better.

The 2010 CTS coupe has been caught testing at GM's Milford Proving Grounds and as you can tell much of the same details from the concept will carryover to the production model. Production is expected to start in the spring of 2009 and the coupe, which could be officially named the Cadillac CTC will be released as a 2010 model.

GT Fan:

Still looks fantastic.

Here's hoping they don't fudge the concept car's design too much.

If it maintains similar or greater performance than the CTS sedan... I have a feeling this car could really give the G35/G37 from Infiniti a good run for their money.

I can't wait to read the future comparisons!!

lowest iq:

nice competitor to the new VW Scirocco/Hyundai.
This thing shouldnt cost more then $30k.

Hopefully, they dont over-marketing it, make all kinds of promises etc.and wont call it 'Allante'.

When sold at 30k, Cadillac might finally attrackt some younger buyers (those that now buy imports).

Noya:

Does anyone else find that the front looks like a slammed Escalade and the rear is just as hideous?

The seats are also a joke. Okay Caddy, make the outside pointy BUT don't try to make the seats match it. The interior quality look no where close to that of it's supposed competitors.

Sphere:

That could be my first Cadillac, easily. I think it's a beauty. This being GM, I hope this is not a 2014 model year or whatever. 2014 is too late!

I hope GM does not destroy it like it did with the Camaro...Lots of changes, and in the end, only in 2010...when we've seen the car in 2007 already!

Cheap Car Lover:

Blah blah blah American cars suck blah blah blah...

It is overpriced, but it's a Cadillac, what should we expect?

brad:

Extra extra, read all about it!!! American auto manufacturer puts more emphasis and R & D costs into a niche product, wonders why total sales declining.

Beau Tie:

Amazing, just amazing. This will obviously knock the socks off of any BMW, Infinity or Mercedes coupe that is in it's class. Great style, inside and out, along with excellent performance and good gas mileage will make this the top of it's niche. We already know the Cadillacs have amazing quality. I just hope this doesn't exceed $45k. I will have one in my driveway for sure.

"America" is my God, i think about it 8660 times a day.

I like it, but then again my automotive tastes are wide-ranging, just like my music. Call it open-minded. Let's see what they can do with it. I look forward to a test drive.

Tommy Boy:

*gasp* An open minded person on Torque Report?! How rare.

Rich:

Could this be another tease? They say it won't change from here to production, but I have seen many cars go from amazing concept to the automotive equivalent of a beige Volvo 240.

Don't drop the ball, GM!
