Who cares? This is a garbage concept car engineered solely to get 'green' headlines for Nissan.
If an automaker actually produces an electric car I'll be happy as a Jay-bird and snap one up (unless it's this ugly). Until then, I'm tired of these ridiculous showcars that will never see any semblance of production.

Why are almost all green cars really fucking ugly? Can't they make one at least look like a generic commuter car instead of an ugly POS? wtf Nissan....

Paint round red spots on the sides and give it a roll.
It just doesn't do it for me. The upright boxy feel that Gen X-Y-Z seems to love just feels undesigned. If this is the future, I'll stick to my gas-guzzling Toyota Matrix.
I also question the "truly green" aspect of an electric car. It seems to me that all a plug-in/electric vehicle does is move the pollution from the tailpipe to some coal-burning power plant somewhere else.
Until we have a truly environmentally low-impact power option, let's call a spade a spade. Green vehicles are marketing movements.

Green Cars are all ways one of three things, boxy, bubbly or, golf cart like. (I hate them all)

There will be plenty of them parked outside gay bars.

Yes, because all homosexuals buy Nissan Cubes and the like.
On that note, I guess I should take back my sports car... those are fer thu real men, right Billy-Bob?
:: scratches crotch, spits his tobacco, and farts ::
The Cube has to be the ugliest Nissan ever designed. A boxy shape is hard to completely f*** up, but they did it. It looks like it should be on an underbudgeted Power Rangers episode, as the foot.

If Nissan offers all seasons of "Will & Grace" on Blueray it will be a winner!
Mr. Tony:
Billy-Bob?! :( Why use that biggoted term against rural/southern people? Why that biggotry? Its the XXI century man, such feelings have no place in society anymore :(
Help to spread the love :)

I've got plenty of "love" to spread, and I do live in TX... there's just too many folks down here that do fit that "term," unfortunately.
As far as the "Will & Grace"/Nissan thing, all my gay friends drive Toyotas ;-)

I've seen better designs from a three year old and a box of Crayola Crayons. Where do they get these designers who create this kind of design ?, daycare centers possably. I won't blame Nissan completely though, the toddlers at Scion/Toyota and Honda dreampt up this rubbish first.

This thing would have looked cool back in the 1980's. Nissan is really dropping the ball in design as of late.

Looks like something that the Post Office would have for their mail-carriers to drive.
I am really not turned on by this style of car, but there are apparently plenty who are, so that is the beauty of the free market, you can generally go buy what you want.

@ UK:
"Why are almost all green cars really fucking ugly?"
They blew their budgets on the engines, and only had $5 left to throw a box on top.
I jest... I jest.
