Audi's R8 is about to get another model in the form of the R8 Spider/ Convertible next year.
For those of you that were waiting for more R8 models your moment is almost here. Very soon the R8 will be offered with two gas engines (V8 & V10), a diesel (V12), and convertible or targa versions.
It is being rumored that the Spider will have a targa setup with removable panels rather than a conventional soft top or folding hardtop.

Wow, I'm not a big fan of imports, but that car is really nice looking. However, I do agree that it would look better w/o the cf panels.

I don't mind the cf on the silver, but it really takes away from the red for some reason.

The CF is great! Without it, the body would look to uniform and the shape of the car would be lost.
The CF adds a touch of, asymmetry to the profile of the car, just as nature intended.

I like this car except for the "bags under the eye" black vents under the headlamps. I just don't like that look. It is an otherwise attractive car in my opinion, though.
