Apart from the complete garbage behind the front wheel it looks good.
Really, what's with the fender louvres anyways? They look ridiculous!

Luxury, nice performance, unique looks. All around a killer machine. Anyone who dogs it, go test drive one and your thoughts will change dramatically.

Why do these automakers all now insist on putting horrid fender vents on their vehicles. You know it's time to pass on the styling cliche when a Ford Focus is sporting it.
Bmw toned it down a notch on the m's. Just shows you how forward thinking euro cars are, and how 'Me too' japanese and domestic vehicles have become.

I've always liked the FX series. So unique with an awesome exaust tone. I drove my friend's FX 35 and i can tell you, it feels much more sporty than many other in its class. Plus the 21 inch rims?? who can say no?

Awesome design, dissapointing engine offerings. No hybrids, diesels, just guzzlers. This is getting old. One would expect fressher trech eith the fresh design.

I love the look of the current FX's but this one seems to be going in the wrong direction style wise. Ugly lights, ugly fender louvres, and a wierd looking side profile. Kind of dissappointing as Acura and BMW's new models seem to be getting uglier IMO too. Bummer.

Everyones going to have fender louvres soon its the spoiler of the new generation, its in a class of speed holes that where taken from downed ufo's around groom lake in nevada, i think it helps by letting the engine bay have more places potential smoke will be able to excape in the case of a fire???

I'm happy to see Nissan has finally developed a new transmission and engine. They've had their rwd 5 speed for like 5+ years, while the competition has been moving to 6,7 or 8. The 4.5 liter v8, in some iteration, has been around for 19 years (Q45 had 278hp and LSD in 1989!).

Put that 5.0L v8 into a 350Z(500z?) and sell it for less than 35k and they would have one hell of a car. im with most people on hating the fender vents. they are the spinners/tailfins of this car generation. sad. and the cars driving around with the fake vent stickers sadden me.

I like it, I can't help to think it could've looked better, but then again I always compare everything to an DB9, so maybe thats the problem.

Boy am I glad I didn't trade in my 06 G35x for an 08 this past weekend... If the 09 comes with a 7-speed and the 3.7L V6 (like this almost certainly will) then the hit on my trade-in value will definitely be worth it.

As an owner of the current generation FX, I have to say, I love this car.
Loved the new 7 speed trans, loved the power, love the 21", and most of all, loved the new interior.
Sadly I'm still paying for my FX, it has only 6 months. Maybe I should go ahead and use my equity in it, but I'm afraid I'm gonna lose to much money.
@Patrick: shame on Hyundai to copy the Infiniti style!
I'm glad Infiniti remain with the "catamara style" front fenders. IMHO this makes the FX and even the G and the M pretty unique. It's good to see that they are just updating the winning style, and not making a complete changeover.
