The truck version of the HUMMER H3 has a 22 inch longer wheelbase than the SUV version. The H3T will also be powered by the same 3.7L 5-cylinder and 5.3L V8 engines that are found in the SUV.
Unlike the H2 SUT, the H3T is a real truck with a full length bed. Overall the H3T is sized between the Colorado/ Canyon and Silverado/ Sierra pickups in the GM lineup.
Expect more details and an official press release soon.

Plastic cladding shaped like a Hummer on a 4-door pickup. C'mon GM. Nobody really buys these. Work on vehicles that the masses really want, or you're gonna be #2 even quicker.
And one more thing ! Before you unveil this puppy, send the design crew back under the sheet. You guys forgot to make the interior look like a Hummer too.

My previous thoughts towards Hummer remain:
"...Stop...Please, just stop...Cease to exist....Just stop..."
What a waste of materials.

The tank is 3/4 empty... I wonder if that's a hint...

That has to be some of the worst interior i've seen in a p/u in a while. I'd rather have a half ton that hauls more, gets better fuel economy, and looks better inside and out.

There are enough vehicles like this on the market already. do some checking and you will find i believe the H3 is built off a modified version of the chevy colorado platform but costs about double. Good stuff. Not to mention teens for mpg hwy....

The interior looks like old-school GM hard plastic everywhere. Surprised they didn't try to introduce a better interior like what's in the new Silverado or the new Saturn Aura.

Can you say "Clank, Clank"? That middle seat belt latch will be flying and banking all over the place with the seat folded flat (see pics). Lack of attention to detail is a loss of sale!

i normally hate domestic under engeneerd cars but hummers are the exception for there in your face style and uncompromising size, this baby hummer is alright in my book

Biil said it best. Lol....
WS got the interior right....
kkbb made interesting commentary that is now with a second look probably quite true....
SEALBoy saw in our futures a gas pump...
Gary knows what its for...
Yep, this car is absolutely horrendously ostentatiously BAD. If Hummer releases this they will instantly become lot-rust. I see in General Motors future: oodles and oodles of fat union workers tearing this car apart to use the parts elsewhere.

And honestly, a Tacoma hauls a boat and kids these days, and is well known for how good it is off-road. Why bother buying anything but it or a Colorado Z51?

I like the Hummer Warthog, but Hummer missed again on this one. This is just an uglier Colorado.

Hummer needs to just go ahead a build the car from Halo.
Everyone hates Hummer, but they are making a boatload of money for GM. They're designed to be low volume and high profit. It's working well.
I personally hate 4 door pickup trucks...

@ Cheap Car Lover: i personally love mid engine super cars but i like pickup/suv's better than CUV's anyday.
@allen: you know i think your partiall right the only part you missed was tha fact that this car is a phalic extension. but thats the only reason i like it it looks wild has some practicality if your into out door activities.

I wonder what this H3T would look like after one of the suspension companies got a hold of it. It may look better after you include a 6" lift and some 35" tires.I don't know about the rest of you guys, but the H2 and H3 sell well here in the southwest. I think the General will sell a lot of these. I'm not one of them though; just give me a '78-'96 Bronco.
