Aston Martin has unveiled the newest Vantage which is powered by the same V12 engine in the DBRS9 racer.
Aston Martin is clearly taking aim at Ferarri with this newest Vantage. The 3,500 pound car reaches 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds and has a top speed of 200 mph, which is close to the Ferrari 599 GTB.
The hottest Aston Martin to date was unveiled today at the opening of Aston Martin's design center in Gaydon. The car will likely enter production sometime next year and will be priced higher than the DBS.

The best way for the British company to have a revival is to make a sexy new halo car.
I know it's blasphemy to say this, but the side and rear body lines kinda follow the old new GTO... Still looks really nice though.

Alcantara fabrics... its the "high end" cloth lol

Most major luxury brands offer this material in their vehicles, and even offer to customize the interior finishes the way you want.
All at added costs to the consumer of course. (generally those with too much money)
It's certainly not for everyone, but to some people... things like these matter.

Yes, Alcantara is rich-car material, and you won't be seeing it in your typical $24k family sedan. It feels wonderful, but I just don't like the look of it... it looks unclean to me. Leather all the way!

i had alcantara in my old lancia delta integrale, and it was just awesome when cornering hard - holds you in the seat like no other hide or fabric can.
the seats in formula 1 cars are clad in alcantara, say no more

A wicked fast car with sleek, graceful lines. The Vantage line is one of my very favorites. It is a touch heavy but that is to be expected in an ultra-luxury sports coupe. It has plenty of power to make up for it too.

The Alcantara trim on everything (even the steering wheel, wtf?) reminds me of a '60s van with carpet all over everything. It looks pretty god damn stupid on an Aston Martin. They should've only covered the seats with it.
