More scanned photos of the 2009 Subaru Forester have shown up on the internet. This time these photos showed up on a Russian site.
The 2009 Forester is set to be unveiled on Christmas day, but at this point Subaru might as well unveil it now. These photos show pretty much every angle of the JDM spec Forester, including the interior.
The JDM spec Forester is powered by either a 2.0L normally aspirated boxer engine that puts out 148 horsepower and 140 lb-ft. of torque. The turbocharged version of the 2.0L engine puts out 230 horsepower and 234 lb-ft. of torque. There is no word on what engines we will see here in the US. I guess we will find out the final details at the Detroit Auto Show next month.

Well at least Subaru's are starting to have different styling for their models. IMO they all looked the same in stock trim before, minu the STI obviously.

It looks as if Toyota is doing more for them... Looks like this car is sharing the Highlander platform. That really sucks...
