The Aston Martin DBS is by far one of the hottest cars unveiled this year. The car is so hot that reportedly the automaker has already received five times as many orders as they expected.

Now Dupont and Aston Martin have teamed up to create a DBS in the same Racing Green color as the DBR9.

Here are the first photos of the 510 horsepower Racing Green DBS.

Sean:

Now that is a nice looking car and if it sounds like the old one it will apeal to both automotive senses.

Something the British do well in all their cars which makes them apeal to the eye that the Japanese and Americans don't seem to get; keep the ass down. Now wedge. Wedged cars look dumb because they are all ass and what do you do with that? The back of the car is the hardest part to design for "appeal" so why do they always have to make it so big! That is why their cars aren't usually very appealing. Vette and others take note!

Jaguars look great because they have flat lines. Same with US cars from the 40's, 50's and 60s.

This car is sweet, what more can I say.... I know; I will never afford one.

Vorador:

@Sean

4x Combo! XD

The car looks really hot. I want one, but i will never be able to afford one :(

I think it looks great in green; especially that shade of green. There is already enough cars in silver. :)

CS:

The car is exceptionally sweet looking no matter if it is green or silver. This would have been a good design for the Mustang to evolve into when Aston was owned by Ford. I plan on buying one of these Astons...as soon as I win the lottery.

longdxcommuter:

I think it would look great in my driveway. Damn, the Brits know how to design a beautiful car ( from all angles, no less). ...Now back to reality, where is my 6 year old commuter car w/ 140k on it, it looks like all the other commuter cars in the parking lot..great....good times

Sphere:

I think the rear end is its worst part. The oval theme reminds me of Infiniti J30 of 1995, or the 96' Ford "bean" Taurus rear ends.

Also did not like much the excessive amounts of bumps creases and openings. I'd much rather like the DB9 2006 in that regard.

GT Fan:

Excuse me while I clean up the drool...

I don't much care for this shade of green, but the design of the vehicle speaks volumes, and I think just about any colour on this car would still look sexy.

Loags:

i'd take either.

who cares?! they both look AMAZING.

the DBS is probably one of my favorite cars out there :)

godforbid, sean... hahah

D!:

Absolutely brilliant!!

Tony:

I'm not trying to be a hard-headed Nissan fanboy, and comparing this to a GT-R isn't 100% fair. But I have to ask - Why does a 6.0L V12 have less HP, torque, top speed, and acceleration than a $70K car?

On that note, I have to say that this is a very sexy automobile. By far, one of the best looking cars I've yet to see. It has a sort of sporty elegance to it.. Almost as if saying, "Of course I'm fast, I can do circles around you. Oh, I also whipe my owner's @$$ for him. Yeah, I'm that good." as it waits beside a big-winged, bodykit-framed Cavalier for the light to change.
