Although Christmas is still about two and a half months away and Lexus has yet to officially release the high performance IS-F sedan, Neiman Marcus is going to offer a very special edition for the holiday season.
For the holiday shopping season, Neiman Marcus has teamed up with Lexus offer the 2008 Lexus IS-F ‘Special Build’ Sedan. Only 50 of the special sedans will be built and they will feature an exclusive interior design with white stitching, a unique steering wheel with white leather accents, front headrests embossed with an F logo, hard polished wheels and specially numbered badge.
The special Lexus IS is labeled as the fastest production Lexus to date and features a 5.0L V8 that puts out over 400 horsepower. It is capable of reaching 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and the quick gear changes are managed by a new Sport Direct Shift eight-speed automatic transmission.
All of this can be yours for a mere $68,000.

$68K?
Methinks the price of exclusivity of owning one of 50 is not worth that...
I'd take the "regular" IS-F and put the rest towards gas and insurance.

All I can say is:
When did Niemen Marcus become auto-dealership? It seems like over the past 7 years for every year there has been a car on sale there of some kind.
