Lexus' version of the M3 and RS4 is going to be released on Christmas day in Japan. It has now been slipped that the high-performance version of the IS will make it to the US this coming February.

According to Lexus chief Takeshi Yoshida we will only have to wait a few more months to see the car in your neighborhood Lexus showoom. Yoshida let it slip at a recent media event that Europe and the US will receive the IS-F either by late February or early March.

Lexus hopes to sell 7,000 units worldwide, with 5,500 of those sales coming from the US. The IS-F is powered by a 5.0L V8 with 417 horsepower and 371 lb-ft of torque.

The GT-R and now this?? This a good year for Japanese performance cars.

Noya:

That interior looks sic; clean and simple with not a trace of gaudy cheapness...I wish I could say the same for the hood.

I love the white leather I have decided. So much so that I may just have to skip seeing the new M3 to go drool at this thing when it lands at dealerships.
