Last week at the Frankfurt Auto Show, Toyota unveiled the world's smallest four-seater car. The car measures less than 3 meters in length and is 425mm shorter than the Aygo and 770mm shorter than the Toyota Yaris.
Toyota hopes to sell 80,000 of these tiny cars a year and pricing should start around 13,000 euros.

It seems that Smart continues making a big impact on the auto industry, despite that it has been sold in Europe and other places for a long time now. I am a Toyota guy, but I'm not going to be excited about this one

that's cute. wonder what the gas economy is like.
I'm not sure many Americans will be able to fit in this car since most are obese. I think that is why SUVs are so popular in the US of A.

Looks a lot better than the smart, not as aukward. It's good to see more gas concious vehicles becomming readily available.

They will make it a 2 seater (1 passenger in front and one in back) for the larger Americans.
It's expensive though. It would be nice if it was electric.

I don't think it will go over well in the European market. They are all so obsessed with the US I think they will want something larger, more capable, and more useful.

Looks like a SMART fortwo competitor. Be careful, BMW Group! Because your SMART vehicle is competing the iQ!

I think it would drive up the R&D costs to develope a special model with significanly different seating configurations than the standard model in such a modest priced vehicle. Second, BMW owns the Mini Group; Mercedes-Benz owns the "Smart" division line of vehicles. Third, I think this would be a hit in Europe where, unlike the US-A, Europeans tend to perfer smaller, tighter, more nimble cars over the America's big, heavy, powerful cars.

Euros?! Hello! The U.S. consumes more energy than anyone else on the planet. They need to sell those cars in the U.S. I think the government keeps those cars out of the states because it is to their advantage that we spend so much on gas - come on, don't they all have their sticky fingers in the 'oil' cookie jar these days?
